In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top VPN applications on the Android platform in the Middle East demonstrated varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the data, provided by Sensor Tower.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy from Nord Security saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $16.4K in late November. Weekly downloads reached a high of approximately 17.7K in early November, while weekly active users remained largely consistent, hovering around 160K to 180K throughout the quarter.

ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN experienced a slight decline in weekly revenue, with figures ranging from $7.5K to $11.8K. Its downloads increased significantly mid-quarter, with a peak of about 17.9K in mid-December. The active user base showed a downward trend, starting at around 154K and dropping to approximately 124K by the end of December.

Turbo VPN - Secure VPN Proxy maintained a steady revenue, peaking at roughly $9.1K in late November. Downloads grew steadily, reaching about 64K in late December. The app's weekly active users were consistently strong, ranging from 1.3M to 1.4M.

Hotspot Shield: Fast VPN Proxy showed a varied revenue trend, with a peak of $10.1K in late November. Downloads were more volatile, peaking at around 7K in mid-November. The active user numbers slightly declined over the quarter, from about 75K to 56K.

VPN Proxy Master - Safer Vpn showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, with a peak of approximately 133K in late December. Revenue peaked at $8.6K in the final week of December. Weekly active users consistently grew, reaching about 1.9M by the end of the year.
